Community Spirit Month 2025
Our Team Shared the Spirit of Service All Month Long!
In October 2025, First Fed expanded our Community Spirit Day into a full Community Spirit Month, giving every team member the opportunity to volunteer and make a difference in their local communities.
Throughout the month, our team members across Western Washington volunteered 265 hours with over 20 nonprofits, from housing and food security organizations to youth programs and environmental cleanups. To make it possible for more team members to participate—especially with local Habitat for Humanity projects—we rotated which branches were closed, allowing teams to give back while still ensuring uninterrupted service for our customers.
In total, First Fed team members contributed hundreds of volunteer hours—painting, planting, building, organizing, and lending a hand wherever it was needed most.
Thank you to all the organizations who welcomed us and to our incredible employees for bringing Community Spirit Month to life. Together, we’re building stronger, more connected communities across Washington!
