DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT AT LOCAL FOOD BANKS

Give locally.
We'll match it.

The holidays are a time for gathering around the table, but for many families in our communities, putting food on that table is a real challenge. This December, you can help make sure more of our neighbors have the nutritious food they need—and First Fed will help your gift go even further.
How Can I Help?

All month long, First Fed is matching donations made to local food banks at each of our 12 full-service branches, up to $2,500 per branch, for a combined total of $30,000 in matching funds.

When you give at your local branch, we’ll match your donation dollar-for-dollar until that branch’s match pool is reached. Together, we can double the impact of every gift and help local food banks keep their shelves stocked through the busy winter months.

How the Food Bank Match Works

When

The match is available throughout the month of December.

Where

Donate at any First Fed full-service branches.

How to Give

  • Make a cash or check donation at your local branch, payable to the partner food bank.
  • If you're a First Fed customer, you may also ask our team about donating via account transfer through Customer Service.

Every dollar donated at a participating branch will be matched by First Fed, up to $2,500 for that branch. Once the branch reaches its match cap, donations are still warmly welcomed— they just won’t be matched.

Why Local Food Banks Need Our Support

Across Western Washington, food banks are seeing higher demand than ever. In recent years, some local food banks have reported significant increases in visits as more families turn to them for support.

Food Banks provide:

  • Fresh and shelf-stable groceries for individuals and families
  • Weekend food bags for students so kids don't go hungry when school is out
  • Home deliveries and mobile markets for neighbors who can't easily travel
  • Partnerships with local farms to provide fresh, healthy produce

When you give through First Fed, you’re supporting organizations that know their communities well and are on the front lines of hunger relief.

Our Branches and Food Bank Partners

Each of our 12 full-service branches is partnering with a local food bank or hunger-relief organization in their community. Your in-branch donation will go directly to that partner, and First Fed will match it (up to $2,500 per branch).
